Senior Sales Officer

Prime Scientific is seeking a talened and ambitious individual to join its team in the job of Senior Sales Officer to work in its Dubai branch and perform the following duties:


Company: Prime M.E.A. Scientific and Laboratory Equipment Trading LLC (subsidiary of Prime Scientific)

Job Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Employment Type: Full Time Employment

Mode of Work: Hybrid, on-site and remote

Reporting to: Chief of Operations

Responsible for: United Arab Emirates and GCC


A. Sales duties:


  1. Prospect for new and potential clients within the assigned territory and establish communication and rapport with the prospects; and accordingly log in Leads and Prospects in the company CRM.
  2. Travel to client locations within the territory and arrange meetings and events therein
  3. Conduct meetings and visits to clients to promote and sell the company portfolio in line with the company strategy; and update follow up information in the company CRM.
  4. Prepare sales forecast outlining possible opportunities and the expected outcome of each opportunity and follow up accordingly; with updating the company CRM.
  5. Achieve company plans and targets and budgets for the assigned territory.
  6. Prepare and submit sales quotations and proposals via company CRM and conduct routine follow ups with updating all information in the CRM
  7. Negotiate and close sales contracts with potential clients by effectively communicating company interests and policies; while maintaining client relations.
  8. Maintain close relationship and communication with all client accounts within territory and follow-up with the clients any needs or support.
  9. Maintain effective communication and support with the clients in pre-sales, during sales, and after-sales phases in collaboration with internal departments.
  10. Follow up sales operations from order confirmation to delivery, invoicing, and payment with the client accounts in collaboration with company administration.
  11. Follow up all client issues with technical support team from initiation until resolution; while maintaining high client satisfaction.
  12. Follow up all tenders and RFQs from pre-consultation, to bidding, to finanlization and execution.
  13. Maintain the company relevance in different tender registers within the territory and update management in case of changes in regulation or compliance that affect the company registration status with relevant authorities.


B. Marketing duties:


  1. Attend relevant trade shows and exhibitions that the company is participating in, and represent the company portfolio and interests.
  2. Compile and update data on relevant leads and update the company CRM.
  3. Develop initiatives and plans to market the company portfolio in line with company plan and strategy
  4. Actively engage clients in company group-wise campaign through different channels, online or offline
  5. Maintain an active online media presence with representation of company portfolio; and utilize this presence to target prospects and clients.
  6. Arrange and conduct seminars, webinars, and events that market the company portfolio and maintain engagement with clients.
  7. Actively research new developments in the market and propose effective action plans.
  8. Actively research current pricing trends for the company portfolio within the designated territory and advise the company management accordingly.
  9. Actively research competitor activities and information; and update the company management accordingly.
  10. Engage in company group-wise campaigns and promote to clients within the territory



C. Business and Market Development duties:


  1. Open new regions within the designated territory by following company policies and strategies
  2. Engage with prospective channel partners in minor sales territories and establish company presence in these territories
  3. Follow up with channel partners the overall achievement of the company budget and plans
  4. Research effective market solutions within the company portfolio and engage with prospects to develop new markets and applications for the portfolio within the territory.
  5. Engage with researchers and scientific and medical community within the territory and reflect company interests and portfolio.
  6. Drive growth and market reach within territory in the product portfolio.


Skills required:


  1. Education: minimum Bachelor's degree in Scientific Field (Chemistry, Biology, Medical Laboratories, Pharmacy, Biomedical, Biochemistry)
  2. Language: minimum high proficiency in English language + any additional language will be extra
  3. Computer skills: proficiency in MS Office applications. Knowledge in performing operations in CRM/ERP software is also preferred
  4. Communication skills: proficient in email and written communication as well as proficiency in personal communication whether by telephone or in-person.
  5. Personal skills: proficient in selling and marketing skills and high organization and multitasking skills. High teamwork and coordination skills. Good understanding of work culture and dealing with different stakeholders. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. 
  6. Leadership skills: experience in leading teams and driving growth within an organization to achieve plans and strategies. Having a visionary outlook and broad knowledge and perspective in different fields relevant to the business.


Personal profile:


  1. Age range from 30 to 40 years
  2. Active UAE driver's license with minimum 5 years since first issuance.
  3. Having current residence in Dubai
  4. Ability to travel to other regions or areas during the job
  5. Needs to have minimum 5 years’ experience in sales and business development in relevant field within the UAE and GCC
