METHOD Perchloric Acid Fume Hood with Washdown – 5 feet. This fume hood is a necessity when dealing with the highly explosive and flammable perchloric acid. To prevent the fumes from accumulating potentially reactive perchloric salts, this particular fume hood model comes with an inbuilt wash down system, integral work surfaces and drainage throughs. This fume hood model has a fully welded stainless steel 316 inner linear material complete with a drain through. Besides, this unit has a washdown system that provides thorough cleaning. Meanwhile, the internal linear and worktop materials are stainless steel. The washdown system is also stainless steel.
